It takes a hell of a lot of willpower to enter a talent contest on her own and then belt out the Adele hit "Someone Like You". Eva Leandra was 9 years old at the time, accompanied herself on the piano and walked off the stage as the winner. As she wrote more and more sophisticated songs of her own in the years that followed, it also became clear to her parents that their daughter was really serious about music. They support Eva's plans, but have no contacts in the music business. How could they, in the sleepy town near Solothurn. This is no obstacle for Eva Leandra - she just gets going, writes songs, contacts labels and promptly gets her first record deal.

Eva Leandra definitely has talent. But she also has the softness in her voice and the vulnerability of a young person in these challenging times. It is precisely this exciting combination and her empathetic, approachable manner that make Eva Leandra a very special artist who is deservedly attracting more and more attention from the Swiss music scene. This is how the request for the current tour of "Das Zelt - Young Artists" came about, where she now shares the stage with Luca Hänni and Remo Forrer in around 30 performances.
