MONTE MAI

Monte Mai is a Swiss psychedelic pop trio from Grenada.

It was founded in 2020 by singer Anaïs Schmidt (Grenada), singer and guitar wizard Fabio Pinto (Switzerland) and bassist Fabio Besomi (Switzerland). This unique encounter between Swiss precision and Caribbean freschezza is echoed in Monte Mai's music. A skilful blend of extended melodies, angelic voices and powerful electronic beats is presented in pure harmony. A balanced relationship between human and electronic soul. The composition and production is amazingly precise and wonderfully unpredictable as it swings from minimalist to overloaded soundscapes with inventiveness and flourish.

Her debut album "Eye Sea Double" was released on 3 February 2023 on the Swiss independent labels "Il Domani" & "On The Camper Records".

BLIND BOY DE VITA

Blind Boy De Vita is an approximately two-metre tall one-eyed man who looks like a Greek sea god fused with an Italian fitness trainer. In the tradition of the old bluesmen, the guitarist and singer performs musical stories, sometimes morally deep, sometimes tongue-in-cheek fresh, inspired by his own origins in the south of Italy and numerous travels all over the world. The music is just as diverse: Blind Boy De Vita's experimental, folky and psychedelic sounds as well as his unique bass-baritone voice form a construct that gives the singer-songwriter genre its own touch, both solo and in a trio. All in all, this is colourful, fun-loving and authentic, characterised by Italian spontaneity, family stories and experienced wisdom.
